The Huyck Preserve and Biological
Research Station is a non-profit research and educational
institution. The fee schedule applies to individual researchers,
including accompanying family members, and student groups applying
in advance, who conduct organized academic studies of the Preserve
or its environs. Children under 12 are charged at one-half the adult
rate. All income from fees helps defray the operating costs of the
station.
All rooms include access to a
kitchen and bathroom. Guests should bring their own food, bed
linens, pillows, toiletry, and towels. The Preserve does not have
house cleaning. Guests are expected to keep the rooms clean and to
leave the facilities as they found them.
