Newsletter Cover Contest
We’re looking for beautiful photos taken by friends of the Huyck Preserve to include in our Myosotis Messenger newsletter. Send us your best photos for a chance to be featured! Photos taken this year or a previous year’s fall have the best chance to be featured.
One entry will be chosen for the cover and the winning cover image will receive a Hike the Huyck car magnet.
Other images may be selected for the inside of the newsletter. The Myosotis Messenger is sent to all current Huyck Preserve members.
Subject matter may include landscapes, wildlife, hiking, swimming, or something else! Submissions are not limited to only photography. Images of paintings or drawings depicting scenes from the Huyck Preserve, or other artwork related to the Preserve are also accepted.

- Entries are limited to up to three images per person.
- Photos must be submitted before 5 PM on March 15, 2024 to be considered for inclusion in the fall newsletter
- Files names should include the subject matter and your full name. Example: “Waterfall_JaneDoe.jpg”

Trouble submitting through the form? Submissions can also be emailed directly to [email protected].
Please title emails "Newsletter Photo Submission." The location, subject, and date the photo was taken should be included in the body of the email.

Email body: Lincoln Pond, Beaver Dam, 1/2/2023
File attachment: “Waterfall_JohnDoe.jpg”
It is preferred that files be submitted in a .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .tif format.
