RESCHEDULED: New Moon Night Hike

2/4/2015

Join us for a New moon night hike. Snowshoes or crampons required, depending on the weather. We have limited snowshoes available for rent for $5. Headlamps or flashlights highly recommended (red light please if you can!). Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in!

This hike is free, but a suggested donation of $5 per person helps us continue to offer hikes and programs for all ages.

Please Note! This hike will meet at the RESEARCH STATION, 284 Pond Hill Rd. 12147

In the event of cancellation, we will update this post and update Facebook - please watch here and the weather the week before the hike!

Hi Grace,

We will have snowshoes to rent for $5 the night of the hike, available on a first come-first serve basis. We have about 2 pairs of every size at the moment.

Sounds like fun. How long of a hike and how fast/ how strenuous?
Mark

the hike will be about a mile over sloped terrain. I'd consider it a beginner/intermediate hike for difficulty
