Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the day with us! We hope you had a great time despite the lack of an ice luge! We are offering to host a wilderness first aid class through WildMed Associates sometime spring 2016.
Currently, we are seeking interested individuals (and the dates they are available) from local organizations including surrounding colleges and universities. The courses offered provide basic to advanced first aid training and CPR to individuals who may find themselves in remote areas without easy or quick access to medical facilities (e.g. field researchers, hikers, backpackers, rock climbers, camp counselors, etc.). If you are interested in this program and certification please click the "Read More" link on the lower right corner to get the details and costs. We need 14 participants to be able to host this program - so tell your friends! Thanks to the help of 17 awesome Citizen Scientists, we had a successful Christmas Bird Count back on December 19th.
